A unique glittery girls bowling invitation is LiiArtsa's NEW design creation!
A custom invitation was requested from a lovely LiiArtsa client - a bowling invitation for a girly girl. That really got me thinking, bowling and girly girl was a hard task for me to think of something suitable that was also fun and completely different from everything already on offer in the invitation market....but I managed to come up with the goodies...and I'm really happy with this one :)
Lots of sparkles and fun for all! Makes you want a bowling birthday party, doesn't it?!
Hellooooo ladies!! Who doesn't love a martini?! And this invitation is the perfect way to invite all of the bride's closest friends to help her celebrate her upcoming wedding. The text is fully customisable - all you have to do is provide a stunning photo of the bride-to-be and LiiArtsa will manipulate her face onto the body of the martini girl!! So perfect!! I am sure this invite will rock her world!
This invite was a custom request for three lovely bridesmaids organising a bachelorette party for their beautiful sister and friend. Their wishes for an invite were explained as "maybe a burlesque lady with a photo of the bride's face. Something simple and fun with a picture of the bride sitting in a martini glass or a chair off to the side of the invitation". And the invitation below was created!
Loving this invite! All text and person's head is customisable!
This can also be a fantastic female adult birthday invitation!!! Just ask LiiArtsa!!

I recently was contacted by a lovely customer interested in the custom designed Hawaii Five0 invitation. Of course, I was able to re-design the invite for the event she had in mind ;) She also enquired if I do favour tags (3x3 inch) to compliment the invitation. As anyone who reads my website knows, all you have to do is ask!! And this was the final outcome, which was pasted multiple times on US Letter size paper and emailed out to her ready to print and cut. One hole punch and they are ready for use!!
Yes, you read it first here! LiiArtsa is on Pinterest!!
I thought I'd help you all out and create some pin boards full of ideas to complement LiiArtsa's invitations! You will find Pin Boards with the LiiArtsa invitation heading with heaps of ideas on food, decorations and party games that I find while browsing the internet. They also will include ideas from my own parties as well!!
Don't forget to browse other invitation pinterest boards in LiiArtsa as you might get some inspiration from them too :)
I really hope you all appreciate the boards and the inspiration they may give you because after all, with the best invite from LiiArtsa, you have to follow it up with the best party EVER!!
Christmas time is around the corner so it's time to start thinking about your next family card!
This is a little tutorial on how to take the photo for the Reindeer Presents LiiArtsa card so you can try to replicate the sense of fun that you feel when you see this card!
Find a wall in your house with good lighting but not direct light. A plain wall free from any clutter is the best position for this photo. Make sure the wall you choose doesn't have the same colour in it as the clothes your subject is wearing or it makes it difficult for me to mask the subject from the wall.
Get your kids ready, make sure they are close together (this works best with two people, the more people, the smaller they will appear from the box) and ask them to crouch down and jump up like they are jumping out of a box. Do it a few times so they know what it feels like - my kids had so much fun doing this! Then ask them to freeze their pose when they are fully stretched. Take a few photos of different 'surprise' faces and hand actions, then choose the best one and send it to LiiArtsa! If you have a few that are favourites, send them all through and I'll choose the one that best fits the invite.
Now go and create some memories and remember, it's all about having fun and catching your child's playfulness on camera!!!
I recently hosted a Minecraft party for my son and his friend who were both born on the same day - what fun I had preparing it all and the boys had a BLAST! I thought I'd show you all the decorations and how I created them - if you have the time, the effort is definitely worth the look of excitement on your child's face - and their friends!
The creeper cups were easy to make! Just buy some green disposable cups and some black electrical tape. Minecraft is a pixelated based game so all you need to do is think pixels...or squares! Two squares for eyes, one for the nose, two for the top of the mouth - under the nose (aligned to the centre of the nose) and two for the sides, placed vertical to the top of the mouth on each side. See - easy!!
The creeper army balloons were just as simple to make as the cups - buy some green balloons and follow the same concept as the cups above! Hang using fishing line :)
I had a fantastic idea to create names in the Minecraft theme - something both boys could keep as a memento of their Minecraft birthday. I purchased wooden letters from our local Spotlight craft store, and created different Minecraft textures - there are 6 textures, diamond, dirt, grass, cobblestone, wood, & iron all in A4 .jpg files. - if you would like a copy of these textures (with compliments of LiiArtsa) - please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject 'Minecraft textures' and I will email them to you.
I painted two sides of the wood black then printed the textures on photo paper and simply cut them out and glued them onto the unpainted side of the wood.
Make sure you trace the letters with the face-side-down facing onto the back of the paper, otherwise the letters will be back to front - I found this out the hard way ;) I used blue-tac to stick them onto the chair so no damage was done to the furniture.
The boys have put them to good use, they are displayed at the entrance to their bedrooms with pride!!
Ok...here is where I went crazy!! I saw a great idea on the net and decided yes, this looks easy as! Grab some white electrical tape and tape away...yes, easy....3 hours later I wasn't thinking it was such a great idea LOL. Anyway, make sure you allow enough time to do this - I had another 3 windows in addition to these to do - so.insanely.crazy. Would I do this again? Purely for the look of amazement on my boys face - YES! But I would allow a few days, instead of trying to get it done the night before!! 2 weeks later and they are still up - the kids don't want me to take them down!
Next, I decided that some Minecraft cubes/blocks were needed for decorations on the table. I bought some plain boxes from Spotlight and printed the textures on plain A4 paper, then simply covered each box. The party guests loved them and they are now being used by my son as lego containers :)
And here is the birthday cake! So simple :) Two layers of rainbow cake (green white and chocolate) with chocolate ganache used to stick them together, and don't forget the surprise in the middle ;) I used peppermint M&M's for the grass and plain Cadbury chocolate squares for the creeper face. The sides of the cake were to resemble dirt, so I used crushed up Flake stuck onto the ganache, ohhhh what a mess it made LOL The candles are meant to resemble minecraft torches. The boys LOVED it and it tasted divine!! First time I have had not one piece of birthday cake left!
And finally, LiiArtsa lovingly created a party favour bag sticker as a thank you for the guests to take home. Looks pretty awesome!
Hope you loved my little tutorial of different things to do for your child's minecraft birthday! Have fun creating & decorating!!!!! xx
