Beautiful Lucy was turning one and her lovely Mum needed a simple invite for a small family celebration. She loves the chevron pattern that is all the rage at the moment and wanted something that was simple and special for her little girl and with a nice splash of pink, of course!. I love the way Lucy's eyes sparkle, so I had to put some stars somewhere on the invite! Isn't she just adorable!
Happy Birthday Lucy! Love LiiArtsa xx
Welcome to another custom invitation design that I thought was perfect to become part of my LiiArtsa catalogue and available for all to purchase!
I really didn't have much of a brief to work from apart from 'maybe something beachy - and with a photo'. That gave me a lot of freedom to design whatever I could think of! And of course, it came with the stress of wondering if the customer would like my vision! And thank goodness she did! I hope her son loves it too :)
Summer Daze is available to order now!
And don't forget to check out the other invitations in the children's birthday range :) www.liiartsa.com.au/childrenteenager-birthday-invitations

NEW children's birthday invitation! This is an addition to the Owl series that's proving to be a bit of a hit! Chevron Owl - yes, it's not very original is it lol - a colourful, fun and adorable invite that your little girl will love :)
The back of the invite can be printed with just the chevron pattern on it for a lovely finish to the product.
This was created using another invite I was playing around with from a custom creation request, a bonus for me and for you too!
As with ALL LiiArtsa invitations, this can be made with a Thank you party bag swing tag to match x
A beautiful NEW children's birthday invitation - Cupcake!
Delicate and sweet - this invite is suitable for any age, and perfect for a first birthday party! It also includes an optional double-sided print (which is how the invite is best produced!).
And happy belated birthday to Olivia - hope your cupcake smash party was a blast!!!! lol
NEW Children's Invitation! Giddy-Up! A perfect invitation for your horse infatuated daughter...what little birthday cutie isn't going to fall in love with this invite?
This was a custom request for a gorgeous girl, and I absolutely adore it, so now it has joined the LiiArtsa family and has become part of the LiiArtsa birthday invitation catalogue! I pretty much had free reign on this, the only stipulation was a cute horsey looking invite.
This design also comes with Thank You party bag swing tags! Too cute hehe
And LiiArtsa sends special birthday wishes to Georgia - I hope you had a wonderful birthday celebration!! LOVE my job!!!
LiIArtsa has been super busy lately and the blog has suffered from neglect :(
A new custom request invitation was created for an excited little girl - pastels, rainbows, sparkles and unicorn were my brief....and I think this is a pretty amazing result :) Apparently she let out a scream when she saw the sample on her Mum's email - how cool is that?!!!
If you are hosting a birthday soon, don't forget to ask LiiArtsa to create your magical invitation!!
Thomas the Tank Engine - I knew this custom request would come one day!
Finally! After what seems like an eternity, I have found the inspiration to create a MINECRAFT birthday invitation! Thanks to a beautiful friend for referring her sister to me, a Minecraft invitation request was received. After my son's birthday last year I have been meaning to create one - Minecraft is the game of the century if you ask any 8 to 11 year old boy.....or girl (my daughter loves it too)!!
It took quite a while to create the blocks effect! And playing around to get the right digital impact took what felt like forever....but I got there and I'm really stoked with how this turned out :)
haha I LOVE THIS! Can't wait to show it to my kids when they get home from school!
I'm currently working on a new baby announcement as well so stay tuned for my next update - it's a custom request so I will be waiting until after the birth of the gorgeous bub before I post the new announcement.
Ding Ding....ALL ABOARD!!! It's been another busy week at LiiArtsa :) I was asked to create a Train invitation for a soon to be adorable 2 year old. And the theme was TRAINS! Lots of colours and a fun invitation was the directions for this invite. Do you know how therapeutic digital colouring-in can be? I thoroughly recommend it!
You can choose to have a picture of no picture with this invitation.
I hope the birthday boy loves it when he sees it :) I know his Dad does, and it has received my kids seal of approval too!
Wishing you all a happy week! x
Perfect for a party treat on a hot summers day, or any day really! Kids LOVE icypoles! And parents love healthy!! Get your kids in the kitchen and make these delicious and healthy fruit icypoles.
1. Juice or blend the strawberries, kiwi fruit and oranges in separate batches. You can also use watermelon, mangoes, pineapples, berries or any fruit that juices or blends well! Keep them separated in individual, clean containers.
2. Start with whatever fruit you like, and fill you icypole mould 1/3 with the juice. Place in the freezer until fully frozen. Don't rush this step, allow each layer to freeze before pouring the next layer in, otherwise you could end up with a slushy, murky (but still tasty) mess!
3. When the first layer is frozen, pour in your 2nd juice. For those who are using sticks, cover the mould in foil and using a sharp knife, make a tiny incision in the middle where the icypole stick should go. Insert the stick - this helps the stick stand upright.
**Those that are using plastic sticks with the cover already incorporated into the mould, just place the cover and freeze for about 40 minutes, enough for the stick to be pulled out for the next layer but solid enough for it not to turn into a murky mess when the next payer is poured!**
Return to the freezer and allow to freeze.
4. Once that layer is frozen, remove from freezer and pour in your next layer. Return to freezer and allow to freeze. Repeat until you have filled the icypole mould with as many layers as you like. You can make thick layers or thin layers - it's totally up to you.
5. Time for you all to enjoy your delicious (and healthy) icypoles!

I thought I'd share a custom invitation request I received from a lovely return LiiArtsa customer.
Her little girl is turning 3 and LOVES Dora and Diego, and when a little girl wants Dora, Diego AND Boots having a Fiesta party on her birthday invite and can't find what she would like in the store available invitations, then LiiArtsa just can't say no :) She was very specific, they all HAD to be wearing party hats, especially Boots! Little girls are so adorable!
A unique glittery girls bowling invitation is LiiArtsa's NEW design creation!
A custom invitation was requested from a lovely LiiArtsa client - a bowling invitation for a girly girl. That really got me thinking, bowling and girly girl was a hard task for me to think of something suitable that was also fun and completely different from everything already on offer in the invitation market....but I managed to come up with the goodies...and I'm really happy with this one :)
Lots of sparkles and fun for all! Makes you want a bowling birthday party, doesn't it?!
Yes, you read it first here! LiiArtsa is on Pinterest!!
I thought I'd help you all out and create some pin boards full of ideas to complement LiiArtsa's invitations! You will find Pin Boards with the LiiArtsa invitation heading with heaps of ideas on food, decorations and party games that I find while browsing the internet. They also will include ideas from my own parties as well!!
Don't forget to browse other invitation pinterest boards in LiiArtsa as you might get some inspiration from them too :)
I really hope you all appreciate the boards and the inspiration they may give you because after all, with the best invite from LiiArtsa, you have to follow it up with the best party EVER!!
I recently hosted a Minecraft party for my son and his friend who were both born on the same day - what fun I had preparing it all and the boys had a BLAST! I thought I'd show you all the decorations and how I created them - if you have the time, the effort is definitely worth the look of excitement on your child's face - and their friends!
The creeper cups were easy to make! Just buy some green disposable cups and some black electrical tape. Minecraft is a pixelated based game so all you need to do is think pixels...or squares! Two squares for eyes, one for the nose, two for the top of the mouth - under the nose (aligned to the centre of the nose) and two for the sides, placed vertical to the top of the mouth on each side. See - easy!!
The creeper army balloons were just as simple to make as the cups - buy some green balloons and follow the same concept as the cups above! Hang using fishing line :)
I had a fantastic idea to create names in the Minecraft theme - something both boys could keep as a memento of their Minecraft birthday. I purchased wooden letters from our local Spotlight craft store, and created different Minecraft textures - there are 6 textures, diamond, dirt, grass, cobblestone, wood, & iron all in A4 .jpg files. - if you would like a copy of these textures (with compliments of LiiArtsa) - please contact me at email@example.com with the subject 'Minecraft textures' and I will email them to you.
I painted two sides of the wood black then printed the textures on photo paper and simply cut them out and glued them onto the unpainted side of the wood.
Make sure you trace the letters with the face-side-down facing onto the back of the paper, otherwise the letters will be back to front - I found this out the hard way ;) I used blue-tac to stick them onto the chair so no damage was done to the furniture.
The boys have put them to good use, they are displayed at the entrance to their bedrooms with pride!!
Ok...here is where I went crazy!! I saw a great idea on the net and decided yes, this looks easy as! Grab some white electrical tape and tape away...yes, easy....3 hours later I wasn't thinking it was such a great idea LOL. Anyway, make sure you allow enough time to do this - I had another 3 windows in addition to these to do - so.insanely.crazy. Would I do this again? Purely for the look of amazement on my boys face - YES! But I would allow a few days, instead of trying to get it done the night before!! 2 weeks later and they are still up - the kids don't want me to take them down!
Next, I decided that some Minecraft cubes/blocks were needed for decorations on the table. I bought some plain boxes from Spotlight and printed the textures on plain A4 paper, then simply covered each box. The party guests loved them and they are now being used by my son as lego containers :)
And here is the birthday cake! So simple :) Two layers of rainbow cake (green white and chocolate) with chocolate ganache used to stick them together, and don't forget the surprise in the middle ;) I used peppermint M&M's for the grass and plain Cadbury chocolate squares for the creeper face. The sides of the cake were to resemble dirt, so I used crushed up Flake stuck onto the ganache, ohhhh what a mess it made LOL The candles are meant to resemble minecraft torches. The boys LOVED it and it tasted divine!! First time I have had not one piece of birthday cake left!
And finally, LiiArtsa lovingly created a party favour bag sticker as a thank you for the guests to take home. Looks pretty awesome!
Hope you loved my little tutorial of different things to do for your child's minecraft birthday! Have fun creating & decorating!!!!! xx
I am loving the pastel girls invitation range! Welcome to the NEW Sweet Celebration invite designed by LiiArtsa.....& daughter!
My little girl decided that maybe, just maybe, she'd like to see a lollipop invitation so she could 'decide if that's what I want this year'.
Wait!! But why didn't I think of lollipops??!!! What a fantastic idea!
After quite a few no, no, no, not that, no....we finally came up with a design together :) She is in love with it for now, but we all know how quickly those little girls minds change.
Contact LiiArtsa for your next birthday invitation!
